Why the name? Why Atomos? Democritus, a Greek scholar, was the first person to suggest that all matter was made up of tiny building blocks. He thought these building blocks were solid and called them “atomos,” which means uncuttable. Democritus theorized that the shape and size of the atomos determined an object’s properties.
We exist to serve your radiation safety needs. We can create radiation safety programs, test x-ray machines, or assist with radioactive materials. We are licensed to perform x-ray services in Nebraska and Iowa and can help with radioactive material anywhere in the US.
